About this site

About Jowaje Is a Health Information Site. We focus on every aspect of health, starting with prevention. Prevention includes taking care of the body and mind through proper rest, good nutrition and adequate hydration, participating in a regular fitness regimen, and kicking unhealthy habits and replacing them with healthy ones. We will be discussing the importance of having yearly physicals. Early detection and treatment can make a huge difference in future health. Jowaje will house original articles written by Vee, as well as other contributing writers. And Vee will also be sharing some of her most memorable Q&A sessions (questions are, for the most part, unedited!). As you know, our mission is to promote health education and disease promotion to enlighten and empower. We start that process by explaining things in laymen’s terms so that everyone is able to understand; not just people who understand medical “talk.” We want you to understand about your health and what’s going on with you as well as you know how to cook, or sew, work on cars, or whatever it is that you do well. Jowaje is here for you. Jowaje is here for this reason… To help you understand what you’ve been told. To help you understand certain disease processes so that you understand why the doctor has given you specific instructions. Doctors give advice that should be adhered to. But because people may be unaware of the dangers of not following them, they may dismiss them altogether. Some patients simply don’t trust their doctors. Others don’t realize how common their particular problems may be. Jowaje has access to some of the best doctors in the world, and they are willing to help us educate and enlighten. We are so thrilled! Thank you to all the doctors! So come talk to us… We care about you! Vee Jefferson, health advisor and educator, is a Registered nurse with years of experience in the clinical setting. Also a columnist and freelance writer, she has authored and self published her first book, “The Truth About Healthcare - Uncensored.” For more information on how to get the free downloadable copy of her book, go to www.Jowajepublishing.com.
